Noggins Salon and SummerHouse Team Up To Present Second Annual Runway Event Benefitting Magnolia Speech School

SummerHouse Furniture and Interior Design and Noggins Organic Salon, both located at The Township in Ridgeland, MS, plan to co-host a fashion runway event at SummerHouse’s Highland Colony Parkway location on May 9, 2019. The event, called MAYMOD Runway Event, will be held at 7 p.m. and will feature fashion looks for both children and adults, men and women. The runway show will boast over 50 different looks worn by local models walking a runway which will run through the center of the SummerHouse showroom.

Runway looks will be presented by Blithe and Vine, 4450, Hemline, The Rogue, Row 10 Baby, Treehouse Boutique, Maison Weiss, Albriton’s Jewelry, Kendra Scott, and Beckham Jewelry. Models’ hair and makeup will be styled by Noggins Organic Salon. A signature cocktail and desserts from La Brioche in Fondren will be available for the guests’ enjoyment.

The event will benefit Magnolia Speech School, which enables children with communication disorders to develop their full potential through spoken language and literacy. This non-public, special purpose, non-profit school is a proven leader in providing progressive, personalized education to students who need assistance with communicative skills.

SummerHouse owner and Principal Interior Designer Lisa Palmer says, “We chose Magnolia Speech School because we are big fans of Dempsey Donahoo, who was born completely deaf. Dempsey’s mom Laurel has been on my staff for 12 years now, and I know how much Magnolia’s services have come to mean to her recently, so we thought it was the perfect beneficiary for our event this year. We are excited to do what we can to help out this organization and its many services!”

Tickets for the event are available for pre-sale at www.maymodevent.com. General admission tickets are $20, and tickets for admission plus a VIP reserved runway-side seat are $120. Tickets will also be sold at the door on the day of the event for $25. The first 25 people to purchase VIP runway-side seats will also receive swag bags filled with exclusive items from area shops and businesses.
