Staff Spotlight – Christa Bryant

Tell us a little about yourself! What inspired you to become a teacher?

In my heart I started teaching in kindergarten. I had my own little classroom equipped with a chalkboard, grade book, and stuffed animals as students.

What brought you to Magnolia Speech School, and what excites you most about being here?

MSS has an amazing reputation for transforming children’s lives. I wanted to be a part of such a wonderful cause.

What is your favorite part of working with our students?

My favorite part of working with our students is watching the light in their eyes when they learn sounds and words.

What is your go-to coffee (or favorite morning) order?

Maxwell House

What is one fun fact about yourself that most people don’t know?

I still love skating rinks.

Outside of the classroom, what do you enjoy doing in your free time?

Yoga and meditation
